This past Friday, our Southgate Anderson football team took on the Allen Park Jags. Anderson has not performed well against them in past lineups and has lost against them for the past 15 years. Even with this record, the Titans did not let that stop them. With a game-ending score of 10-0, they did not allow the opposing team to score any points on the board.
The win was greatly attributed to Adonnis Golidy and Isiah Davidson. Golidy scored the only touchdown of the game during the 1st quarter. Davidson had 3 interceptions, including the game-stealing interception.
Although we have lost to Lincoln Park and Woodhaven for our first two games of the season, this win shows promising improvement already. This Friday, September 19, our football team will take on the Wyandotte Bears at home.
