Here at Southgate, we offer many varying clubs. One of the more profound clubs would be the FCA. FCA is short for “Fellowship of Christian Athletes”. The club here at Southgate operates under FCA, the national organization. The main objective of this club is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. One of the members of this group, Gage Haske, highly recommended this group. He states that it is a great club highly recommended by people who need a strong supportive community and for those who are interested in learning more about the Christian religion. One of the ceremonies they have partaken in includes “Meet at the pole day,” which has sadly already elapsed, seeing that it was hosted on September 26th. Joining the FCA club offers a unique opportunity to grow spiritually and morally. It fosters a supportive community where individuals can share their faith and values. The club provides leadership, development, and a sense of belonging that extends beyond the club. By joining FCA, members become part of a network that encourages positive character development and lifelong friendships. FCA’s mission is to provide a supportive environment where students can discuss their faith, share their experiences, and encourage one another. One of the standout features of FCA is its emphasis on leadership development. Members are all encouraged to be leaders within this club; no one person is more important than any other. This provides a sense of equality and camaraderie. FCA is the place to be for those looking to strengthen their faith and build lasting friendships. If you have any further questions involving Southgate Anderson’s FCA Club, speak to Mr. Reynolds, as he sponsors the club.
