With school back in session, some of our favorite clubs are getting back in order. Some of these clubs are Robotics, DnD, and Coalition Z.
Robotics is making some big waves by helping out our younger elementary and middle school teams, winning for the first time in 12 years at an All-Girls Invitational competition, and working on community service projects to make a difference in the world. Robotics can be seen at every home football game during the 2024 season with their tee-shirt cannon that has been recently renovated to be even better!
As the DnD club preps for the beginning of the school year, it’s also the beginning of the First Semester’s campaign. The Dungeon Master takes 7 pirates on an adventure that they’ll never forget. Who knows what will happen? Our Dungeon Master states that the campaigns are open for spectators to watch. Come on down because you don’t want to miss a thing.
One of Southgate’s newer clubs, Coalition Z, will be having a new student day on October 7th. This club is interested in having students learn more about politics and trying to change the world. This club is working on getting new events this year after a stellar first event of their 2024 spring voting drive last school year.
