What do you think of writing? I bet you don’t like writing essays in English class, but you know what? Many people like to write stories, just not based on prompts. In the STA Creative Writing Club, we write freely, allowing anybody to write whatever they want. You get to express your freedom as a writer (as long as you follow school rules) and let your creativity shine. Even if you don’t think you’d like writing, there’s a good chance you could enjoy it. I never knew I liked writing until I decided to put my thoughts on paper, and from there, I unearthed a new passion for writing. Near the club’s end, everybody can share their stories if they want, and no judgment is passed around. The Creative Writing Club meets most Thursdays in room 33, Mrs. Cunningham’s room. There’s a reminder link to sign up, and it’s never too late to join the club.
