October and November are huge months for our Titan marching band, and school spirit is about to get even brighter. This past Saturday, October 4th, our band will take the field at Anderson. It’s always one of the biggest highlights of the season, giving friends, family, and the community a chance to cheer on the band right here at home. The head drum major, Elizabeth Nilsson, stated, “It was an amazing opportunity to be able to perform and watch our neighboring band programs across the county.” Later this month, the band heads into the spotlight for the MCBA State Prelims on October 25th. This competition will put all of their hard work and countless hours of practice to the test as they perform against some of the best bands in Michigan. The season all comes down to the State Final Championships on November 1st, the ultimate performance that closes out months of dedication, teamwork, and passion. With the way rehearsals have been going, this year’s show is already shaping up to be one of the band’s strongest yet. Mark your calendars, because the next few weeks are packed with amazing opportunities to support our marching band and become a part of their journey. Cheer on our band for this upcoming busy month!
