The Red wings team is playing their 100th season this year, in 100 years of hockey the Detroit Red Wings have won the Stanley Cup 11 times, been in the NHL playoffs 64 times, and officially owned Hockey Town for 28 years. Now to celebrate 100 years of history the Redwings and releasing a ¨Official Centennial Uniform¨. The Jersey will be available for purchase but will also be worn by players at several games, starting October 9th during their home game against The Montreal Canadians. Throughout the season multiple home games will be dedicated to honoring the century of hockey town and the red wings team.
