September Recap

September set the tone for an exciting start to this school year. Kicking things off, the first football game drew a huge crowd and unforgettable energy. For the first time in many years, our team defeated Allen Park, a victory that had the stands roaring with pride and school spirit. It was a moment our titans, titan alumni, and staff will remember. Another highlight came early in the month with the Senior Sunrise. In this cherished tradition, the Class of 2026 gathered to watch the sun rise together, celebrating both the beginning of their final year and the memories yet to be made. Around school, students are adjusting to some big changes. Phone lock boxes were introduced, aiming to keep classrooms distraction-free, and SmartPass officially replaced paper hall passes, altering how students move through the building. Sports have also been shining throughout this month. Beyond football’s strong start, Boy’s Varsity Tennis has made history by securing first place in the league, an incredible accomplishment that reflects months of hard work and dedication. Other fall sports have also been thriving, with athletes showing determination and teamwork in every game and meet. Overall, September has been a month full of energy, change, and achievement. With school spirit running high and students adapting to new routines, it’s clear this year is definitely going to be a memorable one.
